So after the so disastrous typhoon Pedring, my MCGH colleaugues and I decided to go on with our planned trip to Antipolo. We had our swimming at Loreland Resort. It was not our first choice but as we got close to Bosay, we just pushed our way to Loreland. If I'm going to think about the travel time from Fairview to Antipolo, it's not that far actually. We entered this beautiful resort of Loreland through the fx that we contracted to bring us in Bosay and he was great. We even call him as Tito Joseph(so that if a traffic enforcer is going to give him a ticket, not exactly sure for whatever reason, he asked us to call him that and of course to avoid the extra hassle we agreed to play that role.)

We started setting up our things in our cottage and prepared the dishes that needs grilling. We had Tilapia, marinade porkchop, hotdog, talong, chicken & a lot of chichaz. There were also sodas and alcoholic drinks (Well we're not that strong drinkers so we just bought two The bar. This was actually my first time to go out on a swimming without any relatives and we were the only ones who prepared our food. It was really nice and deliciouso!

Whenever I hear my colleagues talking about their experience in medical mission, I just sat in one corner and listen to their stories since I haven't been in a medical mission. Two days ago, Kaye, a colleague of mine was tasked to inform the chosen 12 nurses that will participate at the said Medical Mission. Surprisingly, I was one of them.
There Blood Letting Program, Free check-up on pedia and medicine cases. Free tooth extraction, urinalysis and blood typing. In some cases, the doctors also allowed the patient to have a free ECG. Also after the doctor checked the patient up they give free medicines (sample for doctors that were given to them by the medical representatives).
As a nurse, we were the ones who assisted the patients on to which table should they be assigned depending on their chief complaint. We took the patient's data as well as their vital signs, height and weight before giving their patient record to the doctor and tells them to wait for the doctor to call their name. After that, I went at the back of the doctor's table in order to arranged the pharmaceutical products.
Joining the medical mission was fun and very fulfilling. Of course after the medical mission before we separate our ways, we took a picture consisting of all the nurses and doctors who become part of the medical mission.
Apparently, that very same day was my last day of duty their at MCGH. So as expected I had my picture taken together with the staffs that I've been closed with during my stay there...
